Our Staff

Sean is deeply committed to ensuring that every athlete has the chance to succeed. By prioritizing individual growth, he crafts a supportive atmosphere where players of all skill levels and goals can excel and truly enjoy soccer. With two decades of expertise, Sean’s coaching journey began at local youth camps and progressed to elite international stages. He is highly qualified, holding both a UEFA A license and an MBA in Elite Management, blending technical skill with strategic leadership.

Sean’s impressive playing career includes serving as captain at Seattle University and competing in the MLS for the Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers. He also spent twelve successful years playing professionally across New Zealand, Holland, Sweden, Armenia, and Spain.

Today, Sean brings this global perspective back home, serving as the Director of Soccer and Community for MIFC while also leading as the Director of Coaching for Eastside FC West.

Coach Elliot Fauske is a Washington native and has been coaching full time in Mercer Island, Bellevue and the greater eastside for 11 years.

Elliot played Rec soccer throughout grade school and played premier soccer from ages 13-18. After graduating high school Elliot attended Seattle University where he played for 4 years and earned a BA in Spanish. After stepping away from soccer for a number of years Elliot returned to play professional indoor soccer for the Rochester Lancers and Tacoma Stars. In his first season in New York with the Lancers he was dubbed the "Mohican Warrior" for his aggressive style of play and his towering spiked mohawk.

Elliot has a passion for combining soccer learning with a fun, low pressure environment where kids can enjoy the game and explore creative, skillful play. He sees youth soccer as a vehicle for helping kids gain friendships, grow character and become more physically and emotionally resilient.
